This is the bell that is used to call people at Westcott House to worship, at service times. It's inscribed with the Greek phrase πιστὸς ὁ καλῶν, which means 'the One who calls is faithful' (1 Thessalonians 5.24)
I am called by God - but this calling didn't stop when I became a priest. This bell is a reminder of that, and a reminder to ask myself 'as a priest, what is God calling me to now?'
