Nine.
The nine 'fruits of the Spirit' are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.
(Galatians 5.22-23)
For a plant to produce fruit, it needs leaves to make sugars from sunlight, and roots to bring water and other nutrients up from the surface. If we can produce the fruits of the Spirit in our lives, the questions then might be - what are those things in our lives, and in ourselves, that give us strength, goodness, and energy? and what are the things that others might not be able to see but that act as a source of life for us?
As you reflect on those things, you might also like to light a virtual candle today.
♫ And, as a music suggestion... individual parts from musicians in isolation have been stitched together to produce a (well known!) movement from Beethoven's 9th symphony
